What are your thoughts on the recent government announcement of $563.3m to support the aged care industry’s response to COVID-19?
It’s critical funding of course given the current situation; however, we're wondering how it will it be used to best assist aged care providers?
In particular, how will providers manage, and deliver best value from, those funds which the government has allocated to support “enhanced infection control capability”?
It goes without saying that many aged care providers are struggling and we need to support them as much as possible to build optimum capability - whether it's choosing the right PPE products or arming their care teams with the right training - to allow them to achieve enhanced and ongoing care for their clients... and our loved ones. ❤️
